Yes, and ducks are almost entirely dark meat, probably because they are not
genetically selected for huge breasts, and because they use those pecs for
flying. I would not imagine this varies much from breed to breed, although
there are some breeds almost entirely raised for food. They all have a
goodly percentage of body fat. I boil it off the carcasses and use it for
stir-frying.
