I don't have a slow-cooker but I use a pot on the stove. Put some veggies in
when it's almost done. My toddler loves it. Last week I got the bones so soft
that some of them crumbled in my hands and disolved competely into the broth.
I was so inspired that I broke the leg bones with my bare hands to eat the
marrow and I can tell y'all without reservation that it was good stuff.
