But when I was on a typical bodyduilding diet any period without weights and
cardio resulted in a rapid fat gain (and I was younger than so my metabolism
was probably faster). So I guess carb intake can be blamed here. Also many
people who stop working out also stop control food intake.

At the moment I'm trying not to count calories but I noticed that when I'm
less active I'm automatically eating less so maybe that's the answer.

agree, for example American Indians were very strong, many strongmen today
with tons of supplements, juice, and protein powders can only dream of a
relative strenght of Indians
