The dog jumps out of the way or has learned to let us pass and walk behind
us. Pandora, my little black cat (7 lbs soaking wet, she's my runt) is
basically a control freak or part herding dog/cat or something. She likes
to see if she can get you to move. She also has a bad habit of sitting
behind you if you stop anywhere in the house. Gets all indignent when you
step on her.
The dog is better at guilt trips, I think it's mainly those big brown eyes
and houndy face. She likes to get up on my side of the bed and den in the
sheets and pillows, when I try to get in, she looks up at me and wags her
tail in that "Aw Mom, do I have to move look." She's a good girl and moves
though.

my dog sleeps anywhere in my bedroomand normally is in bed before i go in
because my wife goes to bed early. i have to be very careful and walk slow
and really feel my way around in the dark.

In our house we've learned to walk in a shuffling gait. It's not the
kitties that lie around but, the little black cat that wants to direct
you
by walking through your legs or Trouble the Tigger cat running past you
in
his bouncy way.

Moral of the story - if you have a lay-about pet, make a lot of noise
to
get the brat outta the way. And turn on lots of lights!

Cheers!
