Ah, but I didn't say the UN was altruistic.  Just that we need to get global backing for our actions in Iraq.  I don't see the UN as being angels without sin; they're humans and I am sure they've got their agendas, political or economic.  I think we need to keep our back covered.

The U.N. is not without blood on it's hands, either.  Anyone besides me
remember that Boutros-Boutros Gali was from the same clan as the Somali
warlord Aidid?  I have some trust of NATO, but as far as the "blue helmet
gang" is concerned, the more marginalized they become, the better.
