Amen, Brother Barber, Amen!  One of our options being considered (seriously)
for rebuilding Afghanistan is to let the farmers go back to poppy
growing...probably with a tax abated side dressing of Monsanto & DuPont
products (wink, wink).

Then it'll all end up in the nose of some 16 year old ghetto kid back here
in the States.

BTW...here's an interesting side-note for you:  Some police officials
believe that the recent (last couple of years) reduction in the numbers of
drive-by shootings is not due to anything like D.A.R.E. successes or the
like.  It seems that the gang-bangers aren't hitting what they are shooting
at.  Holding a pistol so the grip is horizontal instead of vertical is the
latest thang in gang culture.  It's also almost impossible to line up the
sights!

 well, i will. i am not saying i want people to take them, but, you are
better off treating drug addicts than fighting this  "drug war". take the
17000% profit out of it by making it legal and use the money for other
things. crime would go down. also the government would not have this rouse
to spy on and infringe on our rights.
