Hi Jeff,
I'm not so sure about external antennas for the actual wireless cards, but
you could get a wireless access point that includes high-quality detachable
antennas. The SonicWALL Soho TZW includes two external antennas that are
attached with BNC connectors. Their wireless cards are also supposed to
have longer range than most others. I can attest to the long range of the
TZW, but haven't played around with the wireless cards.
