Hi, Keith.

First of all, I know the HTX202 is an old HT, but, in my oppinion, it's the
best hand-held Radio Shack ever made, along with the HTX404.

I also have one of them here that I use as a back-up HT, and will never get
rid of it until it stops working.

Tell me what you need to know, and I'll try to give you the basics.

I also have a little cheat sheet somewhere around here that tells how to set
up PL tones, but it will take some digging to find it. Also, you probably
will need sighted assistance to set up the PL tones; at least, I was never
able to do it myself because I had no indication of where I was in the PL
tone list that is accessed with the tuning knob.

Anyway, let me know if I can help, and I'll do my best.

P.s. I agree with you on the manual for the 202; it's really not that
helpful, and is sometimes quite confusing.
