I've been a blind ve now since around 1990. I have given primarily cw
tests, which is my favorite part of ham radio anyhow. I have also
helped give a couple of oral written exams, where signing my name to
the form didn't suggest that I was liing about not knowing what was
going on with the exam.
I was used a lot on giving cw exams because of my ability on cw. I
even wrote fsend as a means of sending the exams.
Would I put my license on the line to say that someone had passed the
exam, only if it was an oral written that I whitnessed and knew the
answers were correct.
I also gave cw novice tests before the volunteer exam program ever
existed except for novices and the old tech class.
