Hi Adrienne,

>Given that liver and other organ meats are ideal paleo foods, I tried and
>failed yet again to stomach some calf liver.

Was it entirely grass fed? If it is not, it will not taste good. Grass fed
liver has a very clean taste, almost like a very good steak. I just had the
best grass fed lamb liver I have ever eaten last night.
No bad smell. It smells bad when it has been fed bad things.
I make liver pemmican too which is fabulous with HIGH quality liver.

Does anyone know if dessicated liver pills are a total waste of
>money?

Yes, a waste, and the cows were probably fed bad things. Why eat pills when
our goal should be to search for the best quality foods possible. Eating
should be a pleasure-not the chore of swallowing plastic pills, don't we
think? Economics is supply and demand-if we demand high quality foods, they
will make it for us. jean-claude has said this many ways before.

Paleobest,
Susan
