I think it was about the same age as yours; I bought it second-hand.  I
have the latest service pack of I E 5 and it's running fine.  Stil running
Win95; there's the occasional glitch but that's W95. (grin)  But I haven't
experienced the problems you had.  Not saying they aren't real.
