Dear Listmates

I know I am straying off the point a bit here as I know the above are milk components which do NOT contain gluten (having just researched "whey").

However, is there anyone out there who could tell me what the difference is between lactose and casein?

I believe this IS relevant to coeliacs as quite a few of us are lactose/cows milk intolerant. (I think I may be and am wondering how to find out).

Many thanks.

Carole
