When you boot up you'll see the BIOS version and date on the POST screen. Go to the mobo manufacturer's web site to see if there is an updated flash for your mobo. You'll need to know the model number of your mobo. There will be a flash utility for the BIOS update, just follow the instructions making sure you are not on the verge of a power failure during the flash. An interrupted flash will kill your mobo.
