Is Reelfoot where you've been bass fishing? Believe it or not, I always
thought that was a TVA lake! I've known fome folks who have gone
house-boating on Reelfoot. They say it is just gorgeous. I rented a
houseboat on Dale Hollow a few years back. That was a blast!

From what I understand, the New Madrid quake was in the early 19th century,
when the Mississippi was still considered the Western Frontier with few
inhabitants. A quake today would probably nail Memphis and St. Louis, right

Reelfoot Lake was formed from ol' miss flowing backward. They say
this next one will be horrible. The 1800 one shook Philadelphia.
