Anthony:
Well, I appreciate your input here. It's hard to know sometimes whether you
are getting the true story. All I know is that this seems to have been the
first time this has happened to me, and I've owned a number of HT'S in my
time. Maybe I was just lucky with the others. Hindsight now tells me that
I probably should have run the THF6A as a base unit with the empty alkaline
battery case, but I guess I just didn't think of that at the right time.
So, I am willing to admit it was my fault, and move on.
At least I didn't damage the radio. A battery pack is easier to replace
than a radio; HI! HI!
I appreciate your thoughts here; it looks like it's time to contact
batteriesamerica.com for a replacement lythium pack.
Take care, and thanks again.
