Hi folks:

The IC-775/8100 has been reborn! Has anyone seen this new Icomm?
I just had a look at it on my favorite ham radio store's web site. I also
took the liberty of checking out the specs on rig pix. This thing is a
broot! Its almost 17 inches by 17 inches. Puts out 200W from 160 to
6M. It weighs almost 50LBS with 4 32 bit DSP processors.
Flash card memory storage and built in digital voice recorder and voice
synthesizer.
This is certainly an attack on the Orion and the MKVFT-1000.
My only questions are: How much functionality is the voice synth going to
provide and how much?! I'm probably guessing around $7000US.
Did anyone see this thing at Daton?
