Hi Walt,

The TS-2000 has two speaker outputs on the back of the radio.  The set of
two Motorola's is connected to one of these and the RS mobile speaker to the
other.  The 2000 also has the main receiver and a sub receiver.  The sub
covers just 2 meters and 70 centimeters for all practical purposes.  There
are a couple of menu settings on the rig which govern how audio is
distributed.  You can direct audio from the main and sub receivers to
separate speakers which is what I have set now or you can have it blended a
little where about 90 percent comes out the main set and 10 percent through
the smaller one or where all audio from both receivers comes through all
speakers.  In addition, if you have it set to separate or blended, there is
a second menu setting that allows you to flip flop the speakers.  So now
everything up through six meters would come out the main set and the rest
through the RS speaker.  However, if one wanted to replicate this setting
for any rig, it would be easy to do in terms of the two parallel connected
speakers.  I think the trick here is matched speakers.

My question is how you went about splitting the audio between two speakers,
one for HF and the other for VHF?  Also, where does the audio for UHF and 6
meters come out or on which speaker?  73
