A balun may or may not suffice. The "BNC to RJ-45" baluns that I can find
allow you to connect two runs of co-ax using Cat5 cable, but the signals on
the Cat5 cable are NOT compatible with 10Base-T Ethernet, and so you cannot
use this solution to interconnect co-ax and UTP devices -- which is
*probably* what's actually wanted....
