Hello brian,
  I think so, that the scorched earth approach is the best way for PC
  used by row user.  In the case of teenagers with their several games
  instal and deinstal. At the end of the month Win9x became
  unrecowerable, and so the clean installation is the best way to save
  nerves and time.
