So I've been doing this for 2 months now, time flies. No real complaints as
it certainly has simplified my cooking and shopping habits.
I do have trouble with cravings though.. 3 kinds.. chocolate cake (or any
baked dessert goods), cheese and pizza.
I haven't had any pizza because I don't really want the bread and I'm ok
with that, but I do miss the mix of flavours on a chewy substance. I wonder
if it's the cheese I'm craving on Pizza (see below).
I used to crave hard aged cheese but I think it's mostly died down so
that's cool.
But my sweet tooth never went away.. and I don't really love honey all that
much, I used to give myself a spoon or two of honey as a 'dessert'. I've
managed to avoid baked goods but I can't really avoid chocolate much
anymore.. I've bought dark chocolate the last couple days under the theory
that it's supposed to be better than milk chocolate, and I don't even like
dark chocolate much because the taste isn't creamy and I end up wolfing
down the whole bar at once. I had a largish box of strawberries the other
day or so, I ate half of it all at once. So as you can see I seem to have
these strong cravings for sugar.. but why. Eating fruit puts it off for a
bit.. but the bod keeps screaming 'devils food cake! i want! frosting! must
have frosting!!! donuts! get me donuts too! pound cake!!'. You get the
picture. :(
Sigh.

PS. My BMI is 20.125 so I've lost more weight than I would have liked. (14
lbs in the last 2 months.)
