Re: Sprint Statement on health is "misleading, incomplete and factually
incorrect."

A statement read on the air during local radio station WHUD's 6:25 am news
program this morning which was attributed to Sprint spokesman Larry
McDonnell was "misleading, incomplete and factually incorrect", according
to one opponent of the companies proposal to place a cell tower on Ossining
High School.
According to McDonnell, concerned "are barking up the wrong tree...the
science is conclusive (and) this technology is not new" and has been
thoroughly studied.
Resident Don DeBar said in a press release this morning that "a detailed
review of the published medical studies shows two things: that no proof yet
exists that these towers are safe, and that it may, in fact, be dangerous."
DeBar added "Our group has put forth presentations by medical doctors and
science experts, while Sprint has its public relations people discussing
health issues. And their spokesmen, who claim the technology is not new
and has been studied, are out of touch with the company's own advertising,
which claims it is the newest thing since sliced bread. Which is it?"
