CTB: I appreciate the news... I've carried ouround the Ithaca Journal article since '75 and when I come across it I often wonder about the story behind the story. Eve I think we met through LRY at the Universalist Church -- that was something of a drug cult in itself. She always seemed to me high spirited and larger than life. Festus the one thing I remember in particular is his freaking one night out on a back road about UFO's & the buzzing of a power pole transformer. I think it was one of those nights the '55 Ford PU was acting up. Regardless, I would not characterize anyone, including myself, that I knew during that period as being particularly sensible. Festus was someone that you could be with for hours and feel comfortable as he was like a shadow along for the adventure.
