Hi Shawn,

Though I *never* *ever* want amateur radio to become anything close to an
unlicensed free-for-all, I am all for relaxing the requirements for
admission!  I did get my Extra ticket the hard way back in 1986, but I'm not
childish enough to say that everyone else should have to do exactly what I
had to do.  In any event, in amateur radio'c current position, we just can't
afford that sort of dogmatic attitude.
