Thanks, Kevin. With that info, I think I found it, it is removing a plastic
jumper near the UHF antenna connector.

It isn't in the manual but on the web site for a bunch of mods. I found it
through Google so it can be done. It is a German site.

Dave G3YXX mentioned the mod, and I think Kevin also has done it.
Dave responded to my message that it was in the manual. Although I haven't
read the whole thing cover to cover, I did a search with DX and failed to
find any mention of the modification. Can somebody point me in the right
direction?
