I use a Laptalk, which has Window-Eyes built-in. Window-Eyes has a
laptop layout available, but it needs a little work in some
situations. The Laptalk comes with an external keypad which plugs
directly into its one PS/2 port. I find some timing problems between
the main keyboard and the external keypad. Others on the GW-info
list have reported timing problems with USB keypads. For instance,
to read current line, you hit ctrl and the Center key. Ctrl may
interrupt the speech instead of modifying the center key sometimes.
Having the keypad is better than working without it, but not as good
as a full keyboard.
