Hi there April, have you given any thought as to what you're going to look
at in the equipment area.
As you undoubtedly know our hobby can be an expensive one if you decide to
go with new gear all the time.
Note however, if your area is anything like around here, if one looks hard
enough it's usually not too hard to find a good deal.
If you have questions, generally this group is decently helpful.

LOL, John, I have to have a radio first.  For now I am using echo link
because I don't have a regular radio/antenna to use.  I listen a lot on my
scanner connected to an old Starduster, but I certainly wouldn't transmit on
it.  LOL.  Anyway, it'll be a while before I can get to the radio stage.
