A few months ago I put my Th-F6A in the check luggage. I put clothes around
it & it survived the trip. I didn't know what I would encounter with it in
a carry on bag. Now they have new rules for checked luggage so I don't know
what will happen.

Subject: transporting ham gear and scanner gear

Hi everyone. I am planning on taking my trip to LWSB from Michigan at the
end of the month. I'm just wondering how well you have transported
2-meter gear and a magmount antenna in a suitcase or carry on bag?. I'm
justwondering if anyone hs flown recently and has had any problems with
any of this?
