Hmmmm,  might be, but even grounding the computer, if your brother wants to
or if that's possible in your set up, I know some one who had to do that to
get interference out of his scanner, he was a cop and couldn't listen to his
scanner to find out what's going on, he grounded the computer and that
worked for him. I don't know if you can do that there or not though.
