Hi All,
I was wondering about the TS 2000 from Kenwood. I contacted a couple of
suppliers in the UK and one was very sure that a voice chip was available
and the other was certain it was not. It doesn't seem to be listed as an
option or add on but I may be looking at the wrong bit of the website.
So anyone know if I can add a speech output chip to the TS 2000? How
accessible is the rig generally, all the Kenwoods I've had in the past have
been pretty friendly even with a bit of a few work arounds.
That reminds me has anyone tried driving the Kenwood rigs with the software
they provide is it jaws friendly or does it behave in a way that's difficult
to script for?
OK its supposed to be deaf on bands above 10 metres but that's not
impossible to work around.
