  There are three sorts of additional information that I think would be
helpful in figuring this out:

1.  What OS are you running?  95?  XP Pro?

2.  What chat software are you using?  Is this via a web browser (which
one?) or one of the various flavours of instant messaging?

3.  What does it say on the blue screen about the particular problem that
was encountered?
