Hi Everyone
I am the happy owner of a ict90 and I must confess I love the cw frequency
readout. The key board takes a bit of getting used to but wasn't bad. After
charging the radio, however, I happily gently pressed the on button and to
my shock nothing happened. I tried a different power source and still
nothing. It certainly helps to hold down the button for a second or so. It
made all the difference in the world.
I'm wondering if any has any info as to how to program memories in different
banks and set up different banks for different groups of items such as one
bank for 2 meters, one bank for 440 and another for scanner frequencies etc?
The unit stores memory info quite nicely but I haven't figured out the
wonderful bank system. For the moment the budget didn't have room for the
software and cable.
As for the dc 12 volt cable, the resister is bigger than the radio. That
seems to be the only down side to this handheld.
