Kathie,

How low in price are you talking about? Freedom Scientific has a program called Connect Out Loud which is very good for IE, Outlook Express, and word processing. I think it runs under $300. Check the Freedom Scientific website at www.freedomscientific.com.

Subject: free screen reading program?

I've run into several senior citizens who need a free (or very low cost) screen reading program to do word-processing, email and a bit of websurfing. Are any of you aware where they can get such a shareware program, or where people sell old Jaws or WindowEyes programs cheap? Thanks. Kathie
