I have 2 ASUS boards, one a socket 370 and one a socket A. I can not
get the 3.5 floppy to respond on either. One the light stays on, but
can not be read. The other nothing happens at boot up. All cables
correct and bios identifies both and lists them as the first boot.
Working 3.5s I replaced them with do the came thing. Bad Mobo? Is this
a problem in Mobos that go bad? Other than these two things, the
motherboards work fine.
