I'm trying to puzzle a few things out. Does anybody know what the
difference is between Thai Kitchen *Coconut Milk Premium* that comes in the
14 oz can, and *Pure Coconut Milk* that comes in the 5.5 oz can? That is,
other than the addition of guar gum in the premium milk. The nutrition
facts panels have different calorie, fat, sodium, carb, and sugar amounts
that I'm not sure are related to the guar gum or not or to the fact that a
serving size of 2 oz is 60 ml for the *premium* milk and 59 ml for the
*pure* milk. I bought a small can today and notice that when I shake it I
don't hear any liquidy contents sloshing like I do with the large cans.
Does anybody know if the *pure* milk is a thicker consistency? The label
on the *pure* says it is "first press, premium grade," whereas the *premium*
milk doesn't make this claim. Is the *pure* milk a better/healthier
product?
