Holly, I do not mean to be coy or sarcastic.  I think this dialogue begs the
very large questions raised by the major premise of this list. Does paleo
diet guarantee better health? Does that mean optimum health for procreation
and child rearing years or does it mean optimized longevity or both?  Is
paleo diet a prescription that is practical for all (any) industrialized
civilization (as a mass enterprise)?  Despite the mass epidemic of adult
onset diabetes, cardiac disease,  and other diseases of civilization
(syndrome x,etc.), we have a population problem, no?  I think paleo is best
for me.  How does that relate to whether or not it is actually medically,
societal or morally best?  I realize that these are questions that are
probably more a matter of opinion and mind set than scientific probability.
