Since I haven't seen any loss on the scales yet, I can only conjecture,
but...

I don't think it has ever been shown that ketosis causes weight loss --
at least not invariably.  Some people lose weight for a while in
ketosis, then stop; some people don't lose at all; some people gain.  It
is possible that when ketosis is accompanied by weight loss, the actual
mechanism is DIT.  It would be nice if we had a simple way to measure DIT...
