Andrew,

Meat and Fat + Oily fish sounds ok BUT I thought that the fat of US feedlot
meat is actually high in omega6  and NOT saturated fat.  (Cordain mentions
this -- see brief article link below -- I would love to hear that he is wrong
about this because it would make paleo eating so much less stressful)  Since
even organic meats & poultry are fed grain here (plus antibiotics and
hormones), don't they have the same too much omega-6 problem?     Unless one
has access to grass-fed meat, how can one avoid this problem? Where do eggs
fit into the picture as they also are from grain fed chickens? (I realize
that there are "high omega3/DHA" eggs being marketed, but the chickens that
produce these eggs are fed flaxseed.

 This brings me to a question I posted recently but did not receive an answer
to:  Does it really matter what the fatty acid profile of feed lot meat is
given that ANY animal fat ingested in the lowish carb context will help us to
burn our own excess fat stores.  Therefore, if one ends up with less body fat
as a result, who cares if the meat ingested contains hormones, etc or is of a
less than ideal fatty acid profile????  The bottom line is the the human
eating this product in a lowish carb context will eventually lower his or her
bodyfat.  And since hormones and antibiotics are stored in body fat -- well,
doesn't less body fat on the human = less stored hormones and antibiotics??
