I know it's non-paleo, but I am quite partial to coffee. I also see that
Neanderthin recommends green tea, which I have started drinking
occasionally instead. I have two questions:

1. Is green tea really paleo? Were people drinking it 100,000s of years ago?

2. Green tea does contain some caffeine, I believe. So is the objection to
coffee (apart from it not being paleo) that it contains a lot more
caffeine, or is there more to it? In other words, is it better to drink
decaff coffee than caffeinated, or does coffee contain/do something else
which is so bad that one should avoid it altogether?

Thanks for any opinions.

Jo
