I am starting to see a pattern here: When put to the test, well-meaning
"liberals" in tense climates turn into knee-jerk right-wing reactionaries.
"Folks like me," eh, Bob? "Brutal uncaring bastards." "Little green men from
Mars."
Then he turns around and says that the same people, "folks like me," who
robbed the Palestinians of their land, should be "deeply respected and
honored! "
How disingenuous can you get!!!! He says "folks like me" destroyed
Palestinian's homes, but the same "folks like me" who reject and condemn
Israel's actions are also to be "deeply respected and honored." We are all,
the whole lot of us, "Jews, period"! How about human beings, buddy? Is that a
category worthy of recognition?
"Folks like you"..... I will never forget that.
