Trisha, today I and others with the same agency went to Sacramento to voice
our protest at budget cuts that could be devastating. There must have been
3,000 of us as we walked, rolled from exhibit room E to the capitol, and then
from there to the park to eat lunch. Lots of school children were out on
walks and they saw all of us. Then 1,800 of us crowded into a hearing room,
with many more spilling out into the hallways and the senator said it was the
most people he had ever, ever seen in that room. Hopefully the state senate
will find it's not good to balance the budget on the backs of those most
vulnerable. I hate that word, but what can you do?

Anybody seen the new PBS documentary on dancers with disabilities? It's
really wonderful!
