Instead of having been in Texas, I got a rare treat today. A close friend of
mine invited to go to Pickwick Lake fishing. We spent eight hours on the
water. For those of those who don't know, Pickwick is a dammed up part of the
Tennessee River. It runs from Tennessee to Mississippi and Alabama. My
friend's bass boat would only do 70 MPH LOLL! When we crossed the main
channel, going from cove to cove, we took the wakes of yacht going 45 or 50
was fun but scary. We bounced so high we had to worry about our "male
equipment" when we came down. I got some strikes, but did not catch any fish.
My friend caught seven and through them all back. It was a blast!!

Bobby, who is a mite sunburned and going for the Solarcaine!
