forget timex-
find a street vendor selling "apex" watches-
$ 10-$20 @ - how they get here from China @ those prices is beyond me,
bought the GI style for me and all of my laborers 3 yrs ago and they
still run. well we did have to change batteries.
The one I'm wearing today has date and day function which is more than
the rolex in my sock drawer-
note don't rototill the garden wearing a self winding rolex it will cost
me more to repair the watch than it dod to buy it...
