I should rename the subject: Ethnocentrism practiced by U.S. companies.
I just got through looking at the url below for the stick-drive offer. After
I get through all the bumph, and verbiage, I see the text "Sorry, this offer
is restricted to within the United States." I should have remembered, a
while back when there was a spam sent me on a special offer of a special
deal for the virus checker, that they were into this.
I spent about 20 minutes filling out a form only to find out, that I was
ineligible for this offer.
I really resent the fact that these companies are practicing this kind of
international discrimination.
After all, I am a U.S. citizen who just happens to live abroad, and who
happens to use the net, and as well who has a U.S. based credit card. Yet,
these companies will not deal with me because I tell my time in U.T.c.
Maybe folks over there should wake their ideas up a bit, eh?
