Angel, do a search for the Favorites folder. Im not sure where it's located in ME, in W98 it's in the Windows folder so it may very well be there in ME.
Once you find the folder, copy it onto a floppy. If you want to be fussy, copy it again onto another floppy - they're not the most reliable form of media.
Then, when you've reinstalled Windows, just copy the folder back and overwrite the new, empty version.
