Got a system: Mobo Intel 850GB,P4 1.9 Ghz socket 423, Adaptec PCI scsi
controller, Hdd 40 GB UWSCS I Quantum, CD burner Yamaha, DVD driver IDE, 2 X
RIMM PC 800, 256 MB each, Video carad ATI radeon 8500( 3D prophet 8500 DV).
When you start the PC after POST a message warns that System has halted
because of start troubles.
If you test other video card there is no problem at start but some garbage
appears on the screen until the system enters Windows Xp and everything is
all right.
The same card tested in other systems works fine.Monitor is an ACER 17" TFT.
Any advice?
