I'am having a shutoff problem with my computer. The computer will shut down
after 30 minutes or so even though I have the power settings set to be
always on. When the computer shuts down, the green power off/on light goes
out. When I try to re-start the computer I have to hold the power button in
for several seconds, release, then push again. ScanDisc then runs because of
improper shutdown. This is just plain annoying. I sure would appreciate any
help. I have a 2yr old Gateway Athlon processor running Windows ME.
I hope I'm sending this question to the right forum.
Thanks,
Dennis Kenealy
