Hi, everyone,
I've been reading this mail list for a few days now and I thought I'd
introduce myself a little bit. I'm Kathy, 34, 5'9", and in a couple weeks
I'll be moving to Austin, Texas.
I've been eating according to Ray Audette's "Neanderthin" for about a month
now, and I absolutely love it. Paleo nutrition makes so much sense to me,
and I'm so happy and excited to have found this book. I feel healthier and
more energetic already, and I've lost weight quicker than I would have
imagined possible.
In the month since I started eating Paleo I've gone from @178 to 164 pounds.
I lost 12 pounds in the first two weeks, but now my weight loss has slowed
down a lot. I'd like to lose another 20-or-so pounds. (I exercise every
day, usually running or walking with hand weights for an hour or so -- and I
have been exercising every day for the past year, but I simply wasn't losing
weight before.)
Has anyone else lost a lot of weight eating Paleo? And if anyone's got any
tips or suggestions for a Paleo-newbie, I'd be so glad to hear them.
Kathy
