Hi all,
Can anyone point me in the direction of resources/research on any
conncetions between celiac disease and brain or neurological disorders. I
just had an MRI and the results showed a "nonenhancing lesion in the deep
white matter of the left frontal lobe". So I am arranging a follow-up with
a neurologist, but I want to do as much research as possible before hand. I
have read a bit on MS and it raised a question regarding vitamin
deficiencies and their potential impact on the brain. Does anyone know if
it is possible to get such damage from a deficiency?? My primary physician
did not raise the issue of celiac, he said that such results are generally
related to either MS, Lyme disease or migraines. I don't have migraines (or
really even mild headaches, so we can rule that one out). Any ideas or
resources would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
