> How should "fresh" be defined for fruits and veggies at the store?
It cannot be defined meaningfully because "fresh fruits and veggies "have
meaning to me only if they are harvested and consumed the same day .( the
best is the same minute but we don't have to be excessif here despite it
Really makes a big difference )
It might be still considered fresh enough if it comes from local farmers
and have been harvested the day before you can eat it .
but no stores carry this kind of fruits and veggies as they are produced
from an "other planet" miles away .

> What word would you like to see used for unfrozen but elderly produce?
dying but once vibrant beings ( hopefully if they grew not too
artificially ) trying to make a living .

> Would you like to see a pick date on every shipment?
Oh yes so we could see that it can't be fresh or harvested ripe and can't
have still some value as food ( may be as filling for cavities )

> If you did, would you believe it?
no especially when by mistake what you buy today have the date of harvest
being tomorrow , other time may be
