Hi-I installed a new 40 gig hard drive, which can't accept any
installations
due to ODBC library locked messages. Hard drive passes all diagnostic
tests.
The problem may have been a download to allow my computer to recognize 40
gigs, rather than only 32 gigs. Simply can't find a way around this,
so new
drive is totally wasted! Also, getting a message: can't install to a root
directory.
I'm using an HP Brio, about 4 years old, with OS Win 98. Having said all
that, please realize that I am still somewhat of a novice: I'm just really
good at following telephone directions from patient computer geeks who walk
me through it! What can I do? Thanks! Kathy Mac
